After week one, we have seen some new stars emerge. Here’s this week’s best pickups for your fantasy team.
Now that the NFL is back into its full stride and week one has come to a conclusion, we have found some new stars that have had breakout games. Most of these players are on waivers, meaning you can claim them and help your fantasy team stride and beat your opponents, according to Rotowire.
The top player for week Two pickup is the quarterback Kirk Cousins. Even with losing in Week One, Cousins scored 24 points. Coming into Week 2 and playing against the Indianapolis Colts, Cousins has an opportunity to have a phenomenal game with his receivers like Thielen and Jefferson.
Cousins will be going up against the Colts who played a terrible defensive game and let Gardner Minshew go 19-20 while throwing three touchdowns. Cousins should have an easy time this week and should help fantasy rosters immensely!
According to RotoWire, Cousins should have a good game due to his receiving corps. “While there are a lot of questions about his receiving corps outside of Adam Thielen, either Justin Jefferson or Bisi Johnson should emerge as a reliable second option,” Rotowire claims.
With Week Two closing in and with the first game happening tonight, will you make the change and pick up Kirk Cousins as your QB1 this week?
